Oral Surgery Ltd is contracted by NHS England to provide specified levels of oral surgery services to patients residing in London, Bath, Dorset and Hampshire. This level of service is termed “Tier 2” and effectively amounts to the removal of teeth requiring specialist level care but that do not require 3-D imaging. Excision of benign soft tissue lesions also falls within the Tier 2 category. In some areas, there is also provision for sedation to be provided on the NHS is required. That is not to say that wider oral surgery services (Tier 3) are not available on the NHS, they are, only the NHS has contracted them to other organisations such as hospitals.
